Our Team

With more than two decades of dentistry experience, Samantha Huettner has worked alongside Dr. Angela Britt since 1998. A registered dental hygienist, Samantha also serves as Dentistry by Angela Britt’s business manager and practice administrator.

“In my position, it is my responsibility to ensure our patients’ needs are fulfilled above and beyond what they need and expect.”

With hundreds of hours of continuing education, Samantha boasts extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry, hygiene therapy, digital imaging, radiography and practice administration. She is an invaluable asset to the team and the patients.

A graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Samantha consistently completes continuing education and training through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

A native of Brunswick, Georgia, Samantha earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic State University and certification as a Practice Administrator from New York University College of Dentistry.

What’s your favorite song? “When You Wish Upon a Star”

What touches your heart? My family is my heart. I married my high school sweetheart and together we have two wonderful sons and four furry, four-legged “children” (three of our pups are rescues).

Whom do you admire? I admire my mother. She is a medical technologist and has worked at the hospital for more than 56 years! To this day, she works full-steam ahead.

What you can’t live without? Trips to Orlando, Florida.

Why Dentistry by Angela Britt? I choose Dentistry by Angela Britt because our office strives to provide the latest dental alternatives for our patients smile.

A Wayne County native, however I have lived in Brunswick since the early age of 16. I Graduated from Glynn Academy Class of 1991. I attended college in Atlanta at DeKalb College majoring in Business Management I completed 3 years , all the while working in dentistry. I completed the Expanded Duties Certification in 2007 along with Surgical Anesthesia Assistant Certification in 2014. I stay up to date with my CPR and ACLS.

I began in dentistry in 1992 with Dr. Lee Bell, Periodontist. I assisted him during perio surgeries for 8 years. After leaving Dr. Bells’ practice I came on board with Dr. Britt as a clinical assistant. I worked with Dr. Britt for 10 years as her assistant I did evolve into Oral Surgery with Dr. Jeff Capes for 6.5 years as a surgical anesthesia assistant I assisted during all surgical procedures and sedation techniques. I have recently returned back with Dr. Britt where I plan to retire from in the future.

I have been in dentistry for 27 years using my skills as a state board certified expanded duties dental assistant and business and accounting manager. Prior to that, I obtained a Banking and Finance degree and was in the banking field for many years, as well as did accounting and business management for several companies. I started with Dr. Britt in 1994, and reunited with her again in 2011.

I reside in the little town of Alston, GA. From Vidalia, GA. Love music, creating, baking, traveling to new places and being on the water. Have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren whom are my world. One place I want to visit on my Bucket List is Italy before I die.

Before joining Dentistry by Angela Britt in November of 2016, she was employed by the Glynn County School System for 31 years, working with children at Ballard Elementary and then on to Satilla Marsh Elementary when it opened. The last four years, she enjoyed working with all students, grades K-12, teaching them Computer Science.

Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Elainia has made Brunswick her home since 1977. When she is not working, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her two grandchildren.
